Liverpool 1 - Arsenal 1

Good game in my opinion. Liverpool started brightly with Gerrard scoring a blaster from Riise's layoff. Arsenal came back after conceding the goal but they could not break down the stubborn liverpool defence. Fabergas again saved Arsenal with a toe poke. Both side had chances to seal off the match though Arsenal's overall movement was better.

Liverpool had to cope with injuries from Torres and Alonso and Mascherano showed great amount of determination and passion for the game by continuing to tackle and play despite the great discomfort he was feeling then. He was certainly immensed on that night! =)
