Slack slack

Its been really a nice week.. waking up at 12pm knowing that there wont be army for the next day too. And u dun have to set ur mind set to get ready to book in the next morning. No restriction no nothing... Hard to describe the feeling i experience...the sense of freedom, control and sudden appreciation of things around.. the wholesome feeling haha.. but its only for 10 days! shall wait till mid dec before i experience this again when i clear my leaves =)
Thanks pals for all the wonderful presents on my birthday.. especially the big board wf all the little little pictures of us and the wishings =) nicely done.

Time passes so fast and its 2pm in the afternoon! Gotta go for tutoring soon and i'll c what i can do..

The carnival@marina is finally over!! Ha spent nearly a month there. It was all smiles for everyone yesterday as the 14 days long carnival was deemed a success. Looking forward to the peaceful months ahead before my ord. *hopefully* Given off for today and we'll begin with the recovery work tmr. Lots of stuff to bring back to camp though. A pity that i did not have the time to tour around the whole carnival area due to the time constraint. The best of what i saw were the 15min long singapore fire works festivals by the bay. Had a very close view and the fireworks were literally "on top of me" ha. Really awesome.. They were like shows and orchestrated by teams from abroad.
Anyway time really flies.. hmm its juz 7 months to ord! Minus the offs and leaves it'll be juz 5 months to go! =p

Tired

Really tiring these days working from 8am to nearly 10pm daily for the carnival@marina.. Except for the half an hour lunch break in the afternoon, its juz nothing but work.. Admin stuff to be printed and prepared, hundreds of thousands of ndp goodies/ shirts to be stored, transported and managed besides managing the stupid golf buggys and etc. Seeing other departments having so many helpers makes me so jealous haha.. Luckily two guy came to help out this week so else my batt will be dead even before the carnival starts haha..
Have to stop playing my matches on sunday as the following weekends will be burnt. Anyway managed 2 goals in the last game where we drew 2-2 against a physical team.. So its 7 goals in 5 games.. 1 more to match the top cech striker wf 8 goals.. Haha hope he wont be scoring alot when i'm not ard =p

Aug 6 - Carnival opening Ceremony by the president (6pm), singapore fireworks festival (7.45pm) , movie by the bay (8pm), concert by the bay (8.30pm)
Aug 8 - Concert by the bay (9pm), countdown by prime minister (11.30pm) , singapore fireworks festival (12am), dance party (12am)
Aug 9 - Ndp live telecast (5pm), low level fireworks (9pm), concert by the bay (9.45pm)
Aug 14 - Carnival Closing, singapore fireworks festival (8pm), concert by the bay (8.30pm)
Of course, there will be many others events throughout the individual days itself.. Bye!

Hi i'm back!

Haha finally got the time to post! Happy birthday to pinky, ignatius, teong and llewellyn! haha july babies.. Met up wf many of them ( ignatius, teong, chee hao, sandy, gui mei, jason and llewellyn) last saturday at harbour front where we had buffet for lunch. Nice lunch wf lots of fun and laughter.. Jason and chee hao ordered so many sets of diam sum enough to fill the whole round table five times! Kept clearing the food but the dishes kept coming in too haha rather painful to finish them up =p Cant really finish the last few dishes so we played a game to clear them up and jason end up eating the last dish loaded wf mayo!! haha check out his camera if u wan to c him puking out the stuff.. =p After lunch, we had a mini celebration at harbour front mall before going to mount faber.. Real tiring walking up the slope wf our bags after lunch but jason's horrible singing kept us way ahead of him haha =p We spent some time at the top then we found a suitable place to play ultimate freebies.. real fun.. wf each team trying to score the point by hitting the circular beam from any side.. Night falls and we were near the padang watching the beautiful fireworks!! haha the second time i've been so close to the fire works .. really nice =)
Went escape theme park wf darling, his brother and friend the previous saturday.. had lots of fun! A couple of new rides were added and they make the place alot better.. New additions include the haunted house (the darkness makes it scary haha) and some tea-cup ride that swings u round at great speed.. etc etc...

Played field soccer again for my team on sunday at punggol.. one of my worst matches though i scored one goal and won 1-0. Could have added two more goals if not for the glaring misses!!! 5 goals in 4 matches so far but not much satisfaction really. My new nike boots kinda sucks.. reall miss my adidas predator mania man.. sigh...
would have tore them apart wf my predator mania.. my new boots feels wierd man, slows me down and i cant feel the ball at all..
Well, the ndp marina set up finally got underway. So its time to work even harder.. hmm think i'll have to watch the charlie and chocolate factory at a later time man shit.. Its opening on aug 4!

Bought a new Nike Total soccer boots last week.. haven got a chance to try it yet haha.. lace placed at the side of the boots for more surface area to improve power and trapping of ball =) didn't consider adidas as the new series are too ex haha considering the number of times i get to play in my army days =p but adidas boots are definately more lasting!
My knee is feeling great again =) Played street soccer last saturday. Abit rusty at the beginning but slowly the flow came back. Felt the new freshness in my legs haha running/ dribbling hard scoring freely =) Cant wait to play a full match again =p

Sigh

Sigh played badly today.... Went AnG Mo Kio wf james and jason for field soccer.. Having a cold start in the first half.. then expectedly my knee still hurts when i shoot.. sigh... low morale.. will get back some day after my knee recovers =)
Then my beloved adidas predator mania is gone!!!! Bought it years ago, a year after the 1998 world cup. Faithfully accompanied me thru the years scoring all the goals.. Sigh now the sole finally gave way and tore up half way thru the match... So its time for a new pair of boots.. takes time to season and get used to it too..

Sigh my knee hurts today. Guess it'll take some time to heal.
Opted out of the army soccer competition today as there's no pt playing wf a injured knee. My camp lost the third placing this morning *expected*. The coach really sucks, bad strategy, judgement, wrong choice of players... they know nothing abt soccer! Very bias too.
Things are not transparent enough during the early stages which cause alot of the soccer players to give up early... haha 2010? nah not even 2100 i guess haha..
NO OFFENCE MEANT ... juz some of my thoughts inside my head.. gonna bathe and head for tutoring soon... Cya!

Hi i'm back!

Haha back after one month finally found the mood to blog.. Quite busy this month wf all the soccer competitions going on.
Well, few of us (ignatius, sandy, jason and llewellyn) went on a trip to JB to eat seafood last friday! Met at kranji then took a bus to the custom. Then we walk all the way to the JB custom. Rather scary to walk on the narrow walkway to the custom wf all the motorcycles and cars zooming and cutting past each other like some racing competition =p Spent our time eating seafood at the " 9 2 8 seafood place" next to the sea. The food were really good =) Not that cheap as i expected them to be but still relativley cheaper than Singapore's =) Spent some time looking ard then its time to head back to Singapore. Haha must thank our tour guide MR JASOH ChUA for this trip =p
Lost earlier on the friday afternoon to 2Sir so this tuesday we'll have to fight for the third placing for the army soccer competition. All these trainings everyday took a toll on me though.. Was too tired during the PJC past vs present on sat. The first match we had alot of chances but we couldn't convert them. Then a painful penalty miss by Jiajun after a Ryan was fouled in the area. Everyone encouraged him on though.. Then we fought on right to the final whistle followed by the penalty shootout. Exciting haha experienced a mini-version of the Liverpool's penalty victory. Both teams missed the second penalty and i decided to let Jiajun take the fourth one. He was reluctant at first after the miss but after some encouragement he took it and scored. Real glad that he came thru it =) I converted the fifith penalty and our keeper saved their shot and so we won =) Lost very narrowly to one of the teams later on. We equalised in the second last min 1-1. Somehow a wierd bounce into our area saw them won the match in the very last min. Finished wf a third placing. But still a good performance overall as many of our team members have never seen each other before the match =)
After that all of us stayed over at yi qi's house and had fun all thru the night =)
June holiday is here and i'm not enjoying it cause i'm still in my blimey green suit haha.. shall wait for christmas to arrive =p Take care guys and till we meet again =)

LAbour Day

Hiya, its a hot day today. Staying home to rest cause the guys decide not to go for swimming haha. Been a long holiday since friday.

Went out wf some of our class ppl on sat to city hall.. (chee hao, ignatius, llewellyn, sandy, jason, teong and yikun) Weijun and karen had smth on .. met Weijun at HMV though wf some of his gay partners (as usual) haha. Ate at the marina food court then found out that harry's bar was full so we walked all the way to chjmes.
Sat at the same particular pool table area and watched liverpool's match followed by chelsea's... Wat a goal by Gerrard haha.. thumping 25 yards cracker... ball swerving into the top left hand corner! Then chelsea celebrated their first EPL win in 50 years following their win.. disgusted though haha...
Went off ard 2am after the Epl match... Started looking at the numbers of the night riders at the bus stop then found out that there's no bus for teong to go home! haha. so all of us took NR5 to holland village, sat and drank some light refreshments till dawn.

Haha finally found this dvd that my gf wanted for some time... Went to many video shops at bugis, clementi then ps to search for it. Titled "My girl" part 1 and this film was out since 13 years ago! if i'm not wrong so its rather hard to find. Most of the shops i went either dun have it or its out of stock.. Haha but luckily found the dvd version at ps Bluemax..Its the last piece they have! phew haha...

Oh PJC is having this past vs present day on the 4th of June... Many sports to be played such as volleyball, soccer, basketball etc.. Can check out at the PJC alumni website at www.pac.org.sg =) Forming a team for soccer for that day...11 aside.. gonna be fun =) Ppl can hang out and stay over the nite at the college grazing stars and watching movies too =)

Holiday almost over and its 10 more mths to ORD!.. Can contact me if u guys wanna meet up at pjc on the 4th of june guess alot of the ex students will be going as well gonna be fun..

Played soccer yesterday again haha.. in the heavy rain... met ben, leon and co there playing soccer too =)
Had lots of fun and there's smth abt me and the wet condition.. seems to be playing better in it..dribbling, shooting volleying from all angles and the ball somehow juz went in between the posts!

Sigh bright sunday afternoon and there's nothing to look forward to... june holiday? Nah not for freaking slaves wearing green like me =p
