Just imagine the electric current freely flowing in all our households today. The power is always available through all the power sockets. Whether the appliance will activate depends on whether we actually plug in the head into the socket.

Its rather the same for our Father in Heaven. His awesome presence is always around us. The very crucial key lies in the fact that whether you are PLUG IN to feel his wonderful presence and love. One can always be in the house of the Lord but never plugged in (just like a house flowing with electric current). That's a truth.

When we sing our praises to him through the worship and songs, are our minds totally about Him or are we thinking about some other events we have later on? It is a wonderful privilege to come into His presence and no other creatures created on this earth actually has the privilege and honour to come before him to pray and worship him.

Our Heart

A magnet is made up of small tiny little magnets inside its body and when the tiny magnets are fully aligned, it gives great strength to the body to attract objects. Disaligned little magnets will cause the actual magnet to lose its magnetism.

The same for our heart. Is our heart fully aligned with God or with this world? Before you even open your mouth to confess of your faith and allegiance for Him, do know that God already know our hearts.

Love

Our Father is an almighty God who loves us even to the point of death on a cross. How much more he wants to give us good things and bless us in all areas of our lifes till we see him face to face.

Like a positive father on earth who wants to teach his son some values of life before he gives in to the son's needs (toy, computer, book), our Father wants us to know him intimately, His will for us and this awesome potential that he placed in everyone of us.

It is important that we do not place two eyes on his promises all the time as a begger does not care about the person giving the food but two eyes on Him as well as it is a relationship between a son/daughter and a Father.

Everyday

Make it a point everyday to read his Words till you delight in them and let the words take root till your heart is overflowing with them. Spend time in prayer and be still before him to listen to him (throw away all your worldly thoughts to come before him! How much our Father wishes to communicate with us each and everyday. It saddens Him to see us reaching for our bed each and everyday without saying anything to him). Make all effort to touch/reach Him, confess your sins and be sincere to change your ungodly lifestyles for Him! Only the righteous will have access to his prayer.

Jinxed Liverpool lost to Man United 1-0 again on Sunday. The match was very disappointing as Liverpool had enough chances and domination time to easily finish off the game. Rating: 4/5. Nice supper! Power Nasi Lemak located at Boon lay. Managed to take a few photos this time haha. There are usually too many people around me to take a good shot at the signboard. The rice, ingredients and especially the chicken wings are very fresh. Lots of people queuing up even at 12am but the service is pretty fast and you can get your food roughly about 10-15min time! Dun miss this!

The laska was highly recommended by many of the food reviews and i was hoping for a good bowl of laksa. The gravy was very thick but it doesn't really have any distinct taste haha. The noodles also does not seem to blend with the gravy and worst of all, it costs $6.90 for just one bowl of laksa. Fortunately the serving is quite big and its suitable for sharing haha. All these dishes are from the food court located at the top level of Vivo City

As a Liverpoolfc fan, you can never get sick of the videos of the day that liverpool won the Champions League in 2005. Magical atmosphere and how the liverpool fans cheered the team on despite being 3-0 down at half time. There were reports that the song "You'll never walk alone" sang by liverpool fans at the half time interval actually sent chills down the players' spines and inspired them to do better in the second half. Recently met up with Ignatius, Wei Xian, Kian Seng, Ben and Sandy for a drink at Al Alzhar. Had a good short chat with them. Really nice to see them again after some long weeks =) Sandy has been busy with her new work in the hospital for some time so she has been missing out on our routine supper trips ha. We'll all meet up soon. Weather has been turning cold recently and it means Christmas is coming! Cantwait for it to come and we'll have our yearly steamboat party at Yiqi's house again!

Very nice and exqusite pictures of birds and animals using hands for their paintings. The particular picture on the eagle is quite awesome given the 3-D effect by using the hands and the artist is able to capture the distinct expressions of the animals too. Dearie bought me one whole box of donuts from Batam and its the second time i've tasted them. They really make very delicious donuts haha, comparable to the ones we have in Singapore and the queue is much shorter! These donuts can be bought from Mega Mall, Batam, which is just opposite the main ferry terminal. Will go back for more on the next trip!

Liverpool thrashed Marseille convincingly at their home ground with a fantastic scoreline of 4-0. Gerrard, Torres and Ryan Babel were on the scoresheet. Torres was extremely sharp during the match having score a gem, dancing his way through 6 defenders before slotting the ball into th bottom corner. Kewell played very well too with 2 great assists. There's only one Stevie G!

Reading 3 -1 Liverpool

Sad day for Liverpool as they fell undeservingly to Reading at the Madejski Stadium. After watching the whole game, i couldn't help but wonder whether the epl matches are rigged ha.

Carragher fouled the Reading's striker outside the box with the linesman having a full view of it and yet the Referee and linesman awarded Reading a penalty! And that's not about all, Liverpool's strikers were fouled no less than 4 times in the box with the Referee right in front of the incidents all the times and not even a single penalty was given.

The 2 commentators for the match even agreed that liverpool should have AT LEAST 2 penalties using the strictest view. An early christmas gift for Reading should they need the points later on in the season. Kudos to the Reading strikers who played very well on saturday despite the bad refereeing.

Time to move on.. Next stop Marseille and Manchester United. YNWA!

Wine Tasting/ Buffet at KR 50 (NUS)

Had a nice dinner buffet and wine session at the KR-50 restaurant (Next to NUS cultural centre) with Stanley, Benjamin, Nelson and Co. The food served were quite good with oysters, sashimi, turkey, beef, pasta, log cake, buffalo wings and etc on the menu.

The wines and champagnes were on a free flow basis and i tasted a total 13 glasses of wines. The best were still the desert wines which were generally sweeter. Dryer wines were served mainly to complement most of the food such as the oysters. The ambience was great and we had a fun time catching up haha. I was abit high after drinking the 13th glass but was fine after i got home and i actually missed the Muscato bottle served by Stanley during his birthday haha.

Will have more to taste for the coming christmas parties. Gonna have a good sleep tonight!

Went Newton Food Centre with Benjamin and Kian Seng one night and we found one award-winning XO Bak Chor Mee store plastered with certificates and pictures taken with celebrities. Benjamin and i decided to try them and it turned out to be quite nice =) The noodles tasted a little sour and hot with the little XO added.

Went Clementi to eat Botak Jones with Kian Seng, Jaydon and some of the classmates after the MM class. Never tried it before although alot of my friends recommended me to try them haha.. The taste of the western dish was quite different from the ones we normally tasted haha.. Not bad overall though the price is quite high for the food served in a coffeeshop but it was quite filling on the whole. Try it one day!

Liverpool thrashed Bolton 4-0 at Anfield with Hyppia, Gerrard (pen), Torres and Babel on the score sheet. Liverpool youngster, Jack Hobbs did very well in replacing Carragher(injured)after the second half. Kewell, Benayoun and Gerrard ran at Bolton's defence and effectively ripped them apart.

Liverpool won Newcastle 3-0 at St James Park with Gerrard, Kuyt and Babel on the score sheet. Gerrard lifted liverpool with another thunderous freekick giving in-form Shay Given no chance. The score line could have been another 8-0 if not for the wasteful finishings by Torres and Kuyt and the bravery of Shay Given. Liverpool, with 1 game in hand, can move into the second place with just a 1-0 as Man United lost their game to Bolton.

Super yummy western food found at the foodcourt located at the top level of Vivo City. Cost 5+ but tasted delicious. Will go back for it again some day =)
Canamari rings at Swensens Vivo City

Went Vivo City with Dearie one day to try the special Swensens branch they had as all the food on their menu are different from the usual branches. Turned out to be a very bad option. The seafood pasta for two tasted quite bad as the whole dish didn't quite blend together. The canamari we ordered cost almost 9 bucks and there's only 8 small rings inside!

Highly addictive chocolate by Meiji recommended by Benjamin and you just cant stop eating it after popping in a few. The chocolate is made into small piece so you can actually feel the nice little chocolate melting in your mouth and you will not sick of it cause of the small portion haha. One small tube cost about 5+ bucks from the cold storage. Be warned! - Its highly addictive!

England won Austria, European Championship Co-host, 1-0 in a meaningless international friendly that saw England's best striker Owen injured yet again. Crouch continued his fine international form, scoring the only goal from the header and guess he'll be placed as the lone striker during the final match against Croatia and England just need a point to qualify. Crouch is very tall and he poses a different type of threat from the usual strikers. Defenders have difficulty in marking him and there's the reason why Rafa still wants him in the team. Crouch still has a weak shot and header and needs to improve to gain back his first team place in Liverpool.

C.Ronaldo has really blossomed over the past 2 seasons and this video clip focused on Ronaldo during the EPL match against wigan where they won 4-0. Just look at how ROnaldo alone contributes to Man United's whole attacking play. The attacks will usually start from him splitting the defence and easing on the other Man United attackers' burden. Man United looked very much less threatening during the matches without him playing.

Germany continued their fantastic international run by beating Cyprus 4 -0. Germany has really transformed alot ever since Klinsmann took over during the world cup and he has changed them from a boring mechanical team into an attacking team and it is really nice to watch them as times. Germany has many exciting players in the team such as Poldoski and Klose and they are in pretty form at the moment. Its anyone's guess that Germany will have a fine run into the European Champioship as usual.

Liverpool's Australian star Harry Kewell is nearing full fitness after going through 90 minutes of the match against Nigeria at Craven Cottage. As a liverpool fan, i really happy upon seeing this piece of news online and there's no doubt in his qualities. He came on in the 70th min for a Epl match for liverpool some matches ago and he immediately turned the tide of the game with his sheer skills though he was just half-fit. Just imagine what he can bring if he's back to his full fitnes. Liverpool can save on buying a new left winger and Kewell still has a few good years in him =)
